About our Farm
We started Hundred Oaks Farm in Geneva, Illinois to raise great-tasting food with care and share it with our community. Our animals graze beneath old oak trees on open pasture, and the farm is managed with respect for both land and animals.
Featured Food
Pasture-raised whole chicken, the way chicken used to taste.
Juicy, richly flavored, and perfect for easy weeknight meals or slow weekend roasts.
Includes (approx. 3.5–6 lb, priced by the pound):
Whole chicken (1 bird):
Raised on pasture with room to roam, resulting in firmer texture, deeper flavor, and crispier skin. Ideal for roasting, grilling, crockpot, or cutting into parts. Serves 3–5 people with leftovers.
For families who want clean, nutrient-dense chicken raised outdoors on healthy pasture — not factory-farmed. A staple for soups, broths, roasts, or any meal where flavor matters.
Total servings:
Expect 2–5 full meals from one bird, depending on bird and portion sizes.
Cooking notes:
Pasture-raised birds cook slightly faster due to higher muscle density. Use a thermometer for best results (165°F at the thigh).
Storage:
Fits in the space of one gallon-size freezer bag.
Stays at peak quality for 6–9 months when frozen at 0°F, and remains safe well beyond that.

Whole chicken (1 bird, approx. 4 lb): Raised on pasture and slow-grown, with the firmer texture and deeper flavor that comes from a bird that actually moves. Roast it whole, break it down for parts, or run it in the crockpot. Serves 4 to 5.
Pork chops (2 chops, approx. 1 lb): Thick-cut Berkshire, well-marbled and hard to overcook. A hot pan and a few minutes a side is all they need. Serves 2.
Pasture-raised eggs (1 dozen): Deep orange yolks from hens out on grass eating bugs and whatever else they find. Breakfast for the week.
